I just finished listening (for the first time) to the podcast provided by the Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. If you’ve never gotten a chance to hear Pastor Bob Coy speaking, take this chance to do so. (Trust me, you’ll enjoy it. It’s funny, but with brains.) You can download the first two podcasts (at least the first two for me) here:
Just got this one: Nebuchadnezzar’s God Story (about 26 minutes)
*This one tugged at me, since some personal situations currently fall under this category.
His podcasts are really downloadable MP3 versions of his radio show, The Active Word, which you can probably catch in your neck of the woods. The radio show, in turn, is comprised mainly (but not exclusively) from portions of his Sunday sermons at Calvary Chapel, Ft. Lauderdale. (If you’re looking for a church in the area, check it out.)
To sign up for the podcast, click on the Active Word iPodder link on the navigation bar (or click here, if you’re lazy) to sign up for the RSS, or go to Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale’s webite to find out more, stream the latest sermons, download MP3s of the available sermons, and even watch the Sunday (8:00am, 10:15am, 12:30pm) and Wednesday (6:30pm, 8:30pm) services, if for some reason you can’t get to church in the morning. (RealPlayer or Windows Media, or something that can handle those streaming file formats needed.)
Edit – July 11, 2005: I’ve added a new Podcasting section to the nav bar. I’ll be adding more podcasts from hereon out. (Is it “here on out” or “hereon out”? Is “hereon” a word?)
