Sometimes, we end up missing the strangest things. For example, yesterday, the Wife and I were going to lunch, and I mentioned that, “I really miss Borders.” As in the book store. Which is strange, because I was always a Barnes and Noble guy.
But I find myself thinking–more often than I’d really like to admit–that I miss the way that store was laid out. The way it had such a strong emphasis on music. The color schemes used. And the way that its shelves were generally shorter than those at BN, which is why the store–along with its slightly darker color scheme and generally more open floor plan–felt so different than BN. It’s weird, I know. But I miss it.
Because sometimes, we miss the weirdest things.
